Meet Our Team
In 1996, Peter DiNovi graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School in Queens, New York, and started as an investment banker on Wall Street. Within three years’ time, he brought in hundreds of customer accounts and successfully managed more than $5 million in assets. In 1999, Peter took the reins of his family’s environmental services company after his father’s passing. After implementing an aggressive growth and acquisition plan, Peter sold the company a few years later for more than 10 times its annual earnings. In 2002, Peter transitioned into the mortgage industry and was an operations and sales manager. In 2014, Peter recognized the growth and earning potential of the alternative lending space and jumped right in. Over the next few years, as he saw how much the industry was growing, he felt the need to help small business owners grow and prosper. “I’ve always loved to help lift people up, and I wanted to use my success and skills to make a meaningful impact and help others thrive,” he explains.
In 2016, Peter combined his passion with his decades of experience and started Tri City Capital Corp., a small business financial marketplace, and his extensive knowledge of the alternative lending market helped him establish relationships with over 50 lenders and access to many different financing programs. In addition to being available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, the firm uses time-saving technology to streamline the entire process, and Peter set up a partner program at Tri City Capital to help brokers and ISO’s access multiple loan options with just one email! “Over the years working with my father, I got to see how hard it was to be a small business owner and I wanted to do something to assist as many small business owners as possible,” Peter says.
In March of 2020, when COVID hit, Peter shifted to doing sales training for brokers and ISO’s in the MCA space and started as a motivational speaker. “I wanted to help more people improve their lives and find success, however they define it, and motivational speaking allows me to do just that,” Peter says. Outside of his duties as president of Tri City Capital Corp, Peter loves to practice taekwondo, play the drums, golf, and volunteer, when possible, for various organizations. In 2023 Peter was selected as one of the top 100 People in Finance by The Top 100 Magazine and started Tri City Insurance Group after dealing with the passing of his sister, who had no life insurance or mortgage protection. ” No family should have to deal with the financial stress that comes with the passing of a loved one ” Peter says
